• Linda is an admitted attorney in South Africa, she holds an LLB from the University of Cape Town and an LLM International Commercial Law with a Specialization in Oil & Gas (University of Aberdeen with distinction).
•  She has written and spoken extensively on Africa’s resources conflicts and the role in development. She also has extensive experience in the media having studied media studies as part of her undergraduate degree and having founded a youth magazine called Hype at the age of 16.

Refilwe Nkomo - Entertainment Editor

“AfricaBe.Com will raise the consciousness and revolutionaries the continent”

• Refilwe is the Entertainment Editor for AfricaBe.Com
• She holds Business Science Degree in Marketing from the University of Cape Town.
• Refilwe is passionate about the arts and is one of the production team members of Vagina Monologues staged in Johannesburg in 2010.

Andrea Africa - African Scholar Co- Editor

“AfricaBe.Com means African enlightenment and African empowerment: not only for the people of Africa but for those who look at Africa as a burgeoning flame of hope. AfricaBe is the conduit for greater conversation about Africa’s story”

• Andrea holds a BSc in Electrical Engineering from the University of Cape Town.
•  She also holds a BCom Honours in Economics from the University of the Witwatersrand .
• Andrea has extensive leadership experience in the education arena having being part of transformation portfolios in higher education along with personal participation in projects to assist previously disadvantaged children in mentorship and access to higher education.

Nthabiseng Ntuli - African Scholar Co- Editor

“AfricaBe.Com is the revolutionary dialogue between the youth of Africa, shifting the prevalent paradigms about our capabilities as a continent.”

• Nthabiseng is the Co-Editor to the African Scholar feature.
• She holds an Economics Degree from Wits University.
• She is currently reading towards a Post-Graduate Diploma in Management.

Gugu McLaren - Editor of article’s feature Be Heard

• Gugu s the Editor of the Be Heard feature which is our articles feature.
• She holds a Master of Social Science degree in Gender Studies(Dissertation Only) from the University of Cape Town, a Bachelor of Social Science Honours in Gender and Transformation from the University of Cape Town,as well as a Bachelor of Social Science in Psychology and Gender Studies from the University of  Cape Town.

Wangechi Wahome - Head of Business Development East Africa

“Working for a Pan African magazine has always been my dream, mostly because it is in the international media's interests to show Africa in a bad light and make Westerners think that nothing good can come out of Africa. It is therefore falls upon our shoulders as African journalists to try and change this perception because we live in and live for Africa”

• Wangechi holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree (Accounting option) from the University of Nairobi.
• She is also a Certified Public Accountant part one (sections one and two). Having done her course at the Regional Institute of Business Management.
• Wangechi has extensive experience in journalism having worked as a print journalist for the Nation Media Group in Kenya.

Keitu Reid

• Keitu Reid is a Features Contributor as well as Marketing Consultant to AfriceBe.
• A qualified marketer, Keitu Reid has ten years experience in the marketing industry – With a Qualification in Marketing (UNISA) and a post grad in Mobile Telecommunications (Wits).
• She left her corporate marketing profession to start her own business, BlackScribe Communications; and most significantly, to pursue her passion - writing.

Eromo Egbejule - Head, Business Development, West Africa

• Eromo is the Editor, West Africa for AfricaBe.Com.
• He just completed an Agricultural & Bioresources Engineering Degree from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka.
• Eromo is passionate about the arts and is a freelance journalist and editor who has written severally for Nigeria's three most read daillies, ThisDay, Guardian and NEXT.

Maryse Feza Bakomito

• Maryse Feza Bakomito - was born in Zaire(now DRC) and raised in South Africa.
• She models, writes and was an intern at Ochre Media in South Africa - assisting with  fashion and advertising shoots.
• Maryse is passionate about beauty and fashion and it's role in the lives of women.
